Organization chart: The Energy, Mining, and Geology Laboratories Division is responsible for the management of the analytical laboratories that it operates on behalf of the Ministry and on behalf of third parties.

The services provided by the LNEM laboratory are paid services, as per the joint decree of the Minister of Energy and Mining and Minister of Economy and Finance No. 1092-97 of February 28, 1999 setting the rate of remuneration for services provided by the laboratories under the authority of the Ministry of Energy and Mining, a decree published in the Official Bulletin No. 4678 of April 01, 1999.
