  Technical Assistance Program.

Achievements

As part of this program, a study is under wayaimed at :

   the assessment of energy consumption,

the proposal for an energy efficiency program in the target departments, as well as the required investment, and

proposing an institutional, organizational and financial framework that is appropriate for the implementation of the program.

The results of this study will enable the implementation of an integrated program to improve energy efficiency in public buildings and administrations with the support of the German cooperation.

As a precursor to the exemplary nature of the national government, this Department has launched a project aiming at the establishment of an "Energy Management System" for the reinforcement of Energy Efficiency in buildings belonging to the Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Sustainable Development with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

This energy management system project aims to reduce energy consumption and the associated energy expenditure and to anchor the energy efficiency culture within the Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Sustainable Development.

Within this frameworkMEMDD also supports the National Office of University, Social and Cultural Works (ONOUSC) for the reinforcement of energy efficiency in their buildings with the support of GIZ.
