The year 2019 saw the creation by the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Sustainable Development of the National Technical Commissions for Energy Efficiency, relating to the sectors of industry, building, public lighting, of agriculture. These commissions are part of the new dynamic in the field of energy efficiency, initiated at the level of various sectors of activity that have a significant potential for energy saving.
These sectoral energy efficiency commissions, which bring together all stakeholders and cover a number of sectors including industry, housing, lighting, agriculture and transport, aim to propose: in a concerted manner, concrete action plans covering operational measures and activities which take account of the specific characteristics of each sector, to meet the challenges and opportunities of developing energy efficiency in our country.
